RentalRules.dk is a 100% voluntary project.

Who we are

Behind RentalRules.dk is Oliver Hancke and Maria Mumba. After watching a TV2 documentary about how especially people from South America get scammed by Danish landlords in Copenhagen, we got the idea to make a website, which provides foreigners with an overview of the rental rules in Copenhagen translated into different languages, making it easier for foreigners to understand their rights when renting apartments in CPH.

We bought the domain www.rentalrules.dk in May 2022 and started designing and building the website– but we are unfortunately only fluent in Danish and English. Therefore, we are looking for volunteers who can translate the website into many languages.
